Iberogast®

What is it? Iberogast® is an all natural prokinetic medicine containing nine herbal extracts. It’s main ingredient, Iberis amara, is exclusive to Iberogast® and has a natural anti-inflammatory effect. Iberogast® has been clinically studied for over 50 years with over 40 clinical trials involving patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Functional Dyspepsia.

What does it do? The proprietary blend of extracts work in a synergistic and complimentary way to reduce:

○Heartburn
○Bloating
○Cramping

How does it work? Iberogast® works in four different ways to reduces the uncomfortable symptoms associated with digestive upset. Iberogast®:

○Accelerates gastric emptying and improves motility
○Reduces cramping and inflammation
○Relieves bloating & induces expulsion of gas from intestines
○Alleviates heartburn

Who is it for? Iberogast® is used by patients aged 3 and over who regularly suffer from the aforementioned symptoms or on an as-needed basis. Patients with Functional Dyspepsia or IBS may take Iberogast® continuously.

Who should not take Iberogast? Individuals with known allergies to any of the ingredients should avoid using the product. Also, individuals with hypersensitivity to alcohol should consult a health care professional before use although its quantity per dosage is minimal (there is more alcohol in a glass of unpasteurized apple juice than in 4 times the recommended adult dose of Iberogast®).

What is the Dosage? Iberogast® should be taken 3 times a day with or without meals according to the following schedule:

○12 Years and over: 20 drops 3 times a day
○6 to 12 years: 15 drops 3 times a day
○3 to 6 years: 10 drops 3 times a day
